Wayne Hollomon Price 1943-2011

Wayne created the Hollomon Price Foundation in 1999 "So we can all appreciate the beauties of nature and try to serve and help our world to be a better place to live in".

Wayne Hollomon Price founded the Hollomon Price Foundation in 1999. The Foundation grew out of a wish to use her wealth to help protect the planet and it’s environments.  Wayne had a life long love of nature, one she attributes to spending time as a child at her family’s “Flat Top Ranch” in Central Texas. As an adult, Wayne became interested in protecting the rain forests and trees specifically from the devastation caused by logging, etc. In her own words, Wayne created the Foundation  “ so we can all appreciate the beauties of nature and try to serve and help our world to be a better place to live in”.  Wayne’s dream for the Foundation while she was alive, as well as for when she had passed on, is for her friends and family to come together to collectively embrace the mission of the Foundation and to take pleasure in using the Foundation’s assets to assist those who are working to make the world a better place.

Wayne was born April 10, 1943 in Dallas, Texas and she passed away on May 19, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas.

In addition to being a Philanthropist, Wayne was a Montessori Teacher, a Mental Health Counselor, and a life-long artist. Several of Wayne’s paintings are on display on this website.

While her legacy is multifaceted, with her most enduring public contribution being the Hollomon Price Foudation and her Art, those who knew her personally – know that  her most enduring legacy is that of friendship.
