Our Mission

The purpose of the Hollomon Price Foundation (“HPF”) is the protection, preservation, and reclamation of the Earth by supporting charitable, non-profit entities and other entities qualified to receive support from a 501(c)(3) organization (collectively “Supported Organizations”) focused on protecting and preserving people, plants, animals and the natural systems upon which all life depends in ways that advance the lasting welfare of present and future generations. HPF endeavors to promote hope for humankind, create a new environmentally conscious way of life for humankind, and establish sustainable resources that do not spoil or diminish the natural systems supporting all life on Earth.

To fulfill the purpose of HPF, HPF divides its support into a primary focus and secondary focus.

The primary focus of HPF provides financial support to Supported Organizations that provide the following services:

  • Directly restore, protect, and/or preserve natural systems that sustain life (including air, land and water); and
  • Protect endangered natural places, animals, and endangered species; and
  • As applied to the first and second directives, educate and train people on the sustainability of the Earth as a fundamental moral imperative of civilization, the importance of good stewardship, practices of good stewardship, and the essential place of people in the environment; and
  • As applied to the first and second directives, provide a voice in environmental decisions to groups of disaffected persons who would otherwise suffer an unfair environmental burden due to social or economic inequalities.

The secondary focus of HPF provides financial support to Supported Organizations for projects focused on people, plants, animals and the natural systems that do not otherwise qualify under the primary focus of HPF in such manners as the then sitting Board of HPF determines from time to time. In all cases, annual support provided for Board initiated secondary focus items shall not exceed 20% of the annual financial support provided by HPF to all Supported Organizations in any calendar year.
